Resumen
The determination of pesticide residues in different matrices, whether animal or vegetable, is nowadays considered a field of study of great importance for food security and the maintenance of the environment and all the beings that inhabit it. In the present investigation carried out with the support of the Instituto Colombiano Agropecuario (ICA), the determination of pesticide residues in a bee matrix (Apis mellifera) was carried out, adapting the method reported by Walorczyck & Gnusowski, 2009, together with the validation of the method analysis using the European Validation Guide as a reference “Guidance document on analytical quality control and method validation procedures for pesticide residues and analysis in food and feed. SANTE/11813/2017”. In this study, 82 pesticides from different families were evaluated, including Organophosphorus, Neonicotinoids and Carbamates, among others. The result was a methodology according to the parameters established by SANTE / 11813/2017 for 34 pesticides declared in the scope. The method was applied to six (6) samples of dead bees collected in an apiary located in the village of Trinidad in the municipality of Guasca (Cundinamarca), for which the QuEChERS multiresidue extraction method was used and the chromatographic analysis was performed on a computer UPLC coupled to an MS/MS detector. Finally, from the analysis performed on the samples with suspected poisoning, non-pesticides were found in any concentration or higher than the reporting limit established by this method in the pesticide residue area of the National Laboratory of Agricultural Inputs-LANIA; however, it is recommended to continue promoting some control strategies to use pesticides at national and international level.
