Abstract
The proposed project seeks to implement a feasibility study according to the needs of electricity supply and consumption in block 9 of the Faculty of Technology, District University. In this order, the applications of this form of clean energy generation are analyzed and evaluated, from the technical-economic side.
For the initial part, it is intended to perform the geographic and infrastructure analysis of the study site specifically in the different areas provided in the theoretical studies proposed by the Physical Development Group of the University and the information bases of solar potential provided by reliable entities , among which are the IDEAM and the meteorological station located in the Technological Faculty respectively. Then proceed to determine by review of the place, the number of charges installed in block nine that would receive power from the isolated network system which includes luminaires with fluorescent technology which is present within the block and the proposal as an alternative which corresponds to the LED luminaires giving way, to the calculations of Power total demand and the amount of Energy consumed.
Moving on to the second part we proceed to carry out the load characterization, taking the values of effective power and consumed energy with the aim of designing and dimensioning the equipment that will make up the Solar Photovoltaic System, among which are the solar panels, inverters, regulators, exclusive batteries of the isolated or autonomous application, electrical protections, bushes and conductors based on the regulations and recommendations established by various authors in the realization of this type of project. It should be noted that from the quantities of the equipment mentioned above it is considered to make the electrical diagrams where the connections between each of these and their corresponding connection to the electricity grid are specified, as well as the distribution schemes and uniform organization of the panels. solar in the facilities of the block for the two cases of study.
In the third part already having the previously established design with its respective mathematical calculations and system information, it is necessary to use software-type tools to obtain technical-economic analysis to apply it to the alternative generation proposal, including the variants that arise with the change of fluorescent lighting technology to LED, in order to identify advantages and disadvantages between the two technologies in order to establish the viability in the two designs proposed for block 9.
Finally, for the fourth part of the project, it is intended to evaluate the technical and economic aspects obtained in the third part by using different software in order to establish the quantitative parameters related to the financial part that allow to define if the feasibility study applied for two loads of fluorescent technology and LED is feasible or not within the near future.
