Propuesta para la implementación de aplicación móvil (App Foretic) como estrategia de construcción social del conocimiento territorial para el monitoreo participativo

Abstract

In the CONPES 3700/2011 (Institutional strategy for the articulation of policies and actions on climate change) was identified the need for management and generation of information to have tools that help build future climate scenarios, in this way estimate the economic, social and enviromental costs an benefits. In different regions of Colombia there are different proposals for designing methodologies that help to have information of vital importance, essential for the articulation of management at the local and regional level for climate change. The implementation of new technologies and tools that help to build knowlodge with a territorial approach is important to managing to link at different scales and actors of the territory. The participation of traditional knowledgw and scientific rigor must be complementary, carrying out synergies that result in a more detailed picture of needs and opportunities that exist in the territory. At present the use of mobile devices is more widespread in Colombia, this facilitates access to information through social networks. We can take adventage of this scenario to offer tools that help to capture data, georeferencing and linking with images of the territory, creating a more detailed idea of the region. ForeTIC is a mobile application proposal to carry out and support communities to take informaction from the ecosystems of their regions to strengthen the construccion of knowledge.
