Estandarización de un medio de cultivo para la obtención a partir del cultivo in vitro de Solanum Phureja mutante flor blanca

Abstract

Actually, potatoes are one of the major commercial interest food, occupying the fourth position of importance in the food scale, after crops such as corn, rice and wheat. Due to its agricultural importance have been evaluated some biotechnological process to speed up, to improve and to guarantee its production; be the in vitro culture one of that biotechnological process. For this reason, the main objective of this work was to standardize a plant growth medium for obtaining plantlets of a mutant potato (Solanum phureja-white flower mutant). For getting the objective were prepared four mediums enrichment with AIA (2uM), Kinetin (2uM) and Kinetin: AIA in 2:1 proportion, additionally a control medium. The meristems were extract from plants that were cultivated in Greenhouse conditions in El Rosal town (Cundinamarca/Colombia), and spread in vitro during 2 months. Results were analyzed with ANOVA – Tukey, watching that the plants with the best features (in length, root and leafs terms) were the obtained with AIA. Concluding that Solanum phureja- White flower mutant growth better low in vitro conditions only using auxins, that applying other hormones.
