Psychosocial risk factors and work absenteeism in the employees of a non-ferrous metals foundry, Bogotá 2016 - 2018. The present investigation was based on the development of a survey made to the collaborators where it was identified the importance for the organization to recognize the physical and psychological well-being of the collaborators, addressing the issue of absenteeism from the influence of risk factors psychosocial in order to identify the psychosocial risk factors that influence work absenteeism, there is an interest for the research group and the company in favoring work well-being and improving the quality of life of its employees. This research includes the progressive development from the completion of the survey, application, correlation, processing of data obtained in the field and analysis of results that allow integrating all the variables of psychosocial risk factors. The following project was framed in the type of descriptive, non-experimental, transversal and relational research, developing the application of a questionnaire to 143 collaborators, which took into account the application of the battery of psychosocial risk applied in 2017 in order to identify the psychosocial factors that influence workplace absenteeism in the company. For the identification of sychosocial risk and absenteeism in the company, the sociodemographic profile, the characterization of bsenteeism, the support of expert judges (psychologists specializing in occupational safety and health) who upported the creation of the questionnaire and served as support were used. for the chi-square methodology application where the correlation between the two variables was identified. In this way it was possible to conclude that if there is a correlation between psychosocial risk and absenteeism, the company must also know the importance that exists between these two variables and must apply the recommendations to avoid the hidden costs of absenteeism and absenteeism, for improve the productivity and the conditions of the collaborators.
