Abstract

Through the academy and the study of the theories related to industrial engineering, and being one of the problems that we must analyze and solve in the working life, we carried out during a period the development and implementation of methodologies such as lean manufacturing, focused on the detection, prevention and elimination of waste, to contribute to the search for continuous improvement, based on tools that facilitate the analysis and flow of information as a value chain map, and improvement techniques such as KAIZEN, which were applied to the processes in the generating machines in the company PROQUINAL. S.A.S, as a basis for the interdisciplinary work team that the company adopted for this project, and for the processes that intervene in the company's productive stages, making an accompaniment from the theoretical and practical scope for the development of the same.
