Resumen
Introduction: This is a research article where an early warning system for mass movement induced by rain is created for Ciudad Bolívar - Colombia, developed at the Francisco José de Caldas District University in 2018, Methodology: a network was developed of sensors through a base station, which is responsible for generating an alert, if there is a risk of slippage. Results: The data generated by the sensor network, such as humidity and temperature that are obtained generate alerts, increasing the possibility of saving lives of vulnerable people in the locality. Conclusion: this project seeks to save the most important human being, life; After making people aware of the danger of building houses in places with a high risk of landslide, it is intended to show that through technology it is possible to save lives, alerting in time, natural catastrophes such as landslides. Originality: In this work a previous soil study is generated in the city of Bolívar (Bogotá), an alert scale is created for the system, implementing in the locality the Information System for Risk Management and Climate Change ( SIRE). Limitations: The little development of warning systems in landslide induced by rain in Colombia.
