Resumen
The present work tries to unite two great perspectives that are complemented to obtain an effective treatment of expectation. First, an approach from cognitive models that allow to obtain and represent the boundaries between events, always reaffirmed with basic Gestalt principles, theory of segmentation of events and the treatment of attention; secondly, a behavioral approach, which encompasses the listener's interaction with an unknown musical stream and how it is subjected to an adaptive process, sensitive to changes in time to infer the behavior and evolution of the environment. This latter approach allows the listener to gain some understanding of the sound sequence that he perceives through transition probabilities, inductive learning and by reinforcement, which will be worked with Markov chains. The structuring of the musical piece resulting from this research, Todo pasa… todo queda, it is designed in such a way that the listener can acquire perceptual information from the dynamics of behavior of different parameters in the work, making available the objective component of the probabilities of transition to model not only the development of the piece itself, but also to control to some extent, the surprise and uncertainty experienced by the listener during the act of perception.
