Estado de la gestión del recurso hídrico del municipio de Cachipay (Cundinamarca) en su ámbito institucional

Abstract

This document presents a way of diagnosis and evaluation, institutional behaviors and local capacities in the municipality of Cachipay; in the integral management of hydric resources, in order to recognize the way in which the institutional dynamics facilitates the articulation, cooperation, coordination and other factors associated with the inter-institutional relationship at the local level.The project was raised in the in the framework of the water chair, and was developed on the basis of the national policy for the integrated management of hydric resources.This work was centralized in the institutional strengthening and governance, such as fundamental axes that allow the long term sustainability of water in Colombia; and had as its purpose to contribute to the improvement in the management and decision-making of the planning of the same at the municipal level.In methodological terms, the study has a descriptive approach and it is used a case study. Regarding to the results, was developed the structure of water planning, linking the actors -instruments and resources, subsequently evaluated the instruments of planning and weaknesses were identified and strategies for improvement; by means of matrices, graphs, diagrams and tables. This allowed prove the difficulties that the municipality, faces when taking a decision to implement the integral management of the hydric resources and the disarticulation that exists at the institutional area.
