Resumen
This work is based on Oriol Rangel's interpretations on the piano of two Colombian musical pieces, Pamplonita and Chichimoco, composed by maestros Gerardo Rangel and Luis Eduardo Villa respectively. The aforementioned pieces were transformed into technical-musical Studies through the use of excerpts from two Chopin Studies, No. 8 and No. 12, Op. 10. Maestro Néstor Rivera managed to unite these two genres from different sociocultural moments into one, without losing the characteristic sonority of the bambuco in Colombian music, and preserving Chopin's pearly sonority. Pamplonita was transformed into a polyrhythmic Study in which three different meters are coupled, and in Chichimoco, the left hand of the Revolutionary Study was adapted to one of the rhythms of the bambuco.
