Ítem Análisis del Estado Actual de la Tecnología Energy Harvesting (Recolectores de Energía) Basados en Piezoelectricidad.Jiménez Rubio, Fredy Alexander; Noguera Vega, Luis AntonioContext: Electricity has transformed the history of humanity, which allows increasingly flexible and versatile consumers to have a growing demand for energy. According to the International Energy Agency (IEA) the demand for electricity increases by 80% during the period 2012 - 2040, and in recent years the generation of electricity through renewable sources grew an average of 3.6% per year; more people connect to the network, as quality standards improve all over the world, allowing the demand for appliances and electronic devices to improve. Technology can make practical systems and services come to work with low current and power consumption, to obtain optimum and efficient solutions to transform the energy sources found in the environment, becoming useful electrical energy that does not affect the environment. Method: We investigated the applications that are currently being used to transform the energy present in the environment into electrical energy, where the transformation process and the most used materials were observed, so that in the development of this document the issues related to the generation and storage of kinetic energy, such as the mechanical efforts that are in the environment, making known the different studies, theories, approaches, designs, conclusions and points of view made to date on this technology that is called Piezoelectric Energy Harvesting, or piezoelectricity-based energy harvesters. Results: A comparison was provided with other sources of energy that are booming, which are viable to generate electricity, where the ultimate goal of energy collection systems, is to operate autonomously (without batteries) that depend on the energy extracted from the environment, thanks to technological and scientific developments, the future of the collection of human energy will be a competent and reliable alternative.
