Propuesta para la interpretación de los JaleosRaquejo Dominguez, Karem Andrea; Villamil, CesarThe Dominican merengue as the mayor musical expression from the Dominican Republic possesses very important characteristics to study and to analyze from a variety of historical facts, trends, social and cultural aspects. This project states a propose for the interpretation in the saxophone of three jaleos from different periods of time and styles of merengue for its usage, promotion and application; taking into account historical, musical and cultural backgrounds to reach a wide view of the technical basis to describe. After realizing the appropriate introduction, identifying goals and realizing a clear justification related to the project, it was continued with the referential framework, which quotes to several authors and books that contributed to the good development of the investigation, continuing with the description of the most important aspects in the saxophone as well in the genre. The methodological development and the analysis were substantiated with the mayor possible attention, keeping patterns and guides in the musical and investigative context. The present work has a qualitative focusing, where interviews were made to can investigate about the project of investigation and to clarify conclusions and statements related to the object of study, it is important to know that the document focuses on the recompilation of data from different accurate sources with the aim of creating methodologies and judgments of different generations which could support the project. Finally, conclusions and statements come to light respecting to the obtained object of study for a better understanding of the project.
