Identidad de género en infanciaMolano Rodríguez, Jessica; Rincón Verdugo, CeciliaThrough the story and memory, this research aims to reveal the conceptual and social universe of the construction of gender identity in childhood: The stories of Miguel, a homosexual adult who dared to “come out of the closet” in his childhood, make up the research base of this thesis and that, when reconstructing his story in a book-album, proposes to show and share the story and the fears that many boys and girls surely face when gender identity and binary sexuality are involved in a society that he still stands out as macho and patriarchal. Ethnosociological research and the possibility of transforming Miguel's life stories are combined throughout this document in order to consolidate the oral and visual narrative proposal of the book album as a graphic piece: Initially, the problem and objectives that guided this research, as well as authors and works that served as conceptual and methodological references. Subsequently, the methodological path is presented divided into two parts: first, the route to the stories of Miguel, the adult in question, and on the other hand, the consolidation of the book-album narrative. This last part agglomerating and giving way to the conclusions of the investigation.
