Ítem Encuentro entre la biología y el arte en el ámbito educativoRojas-Pardo, July Andrea; Motta-Marroquín, Jesús AlbertoThe integration of different areas is considered an interdisciplinary pedagogical strategy that promotes the construction, strengthening and appropriation of knowledge, which is susceptible to being reinforced through didactic strategies directed by the teacher in order to guide and accompany said process in formation. of knowledge (Castro, 2020; Gamboa et al., 2013). This internship designed and implemented a pedagogical and didactic strategy based on the plastic arts in articulation with biology, with the aim of developing artistic skills through the implementation of various techniques with a view to strengthening biological concepts. To this end, a 26-week work schedule focused on (A) modeling, figurative drawing, graphoplastic techniques, and pointillism in relation to the senses and their functions; (B) color, grid drawing and elaboration of dry paints correlated with the thermal floors of Colombia; (C) aqueous paintings and their respective elaboration, figurative drawing, botanical drawing and color that help with the identification of the parts of the plants, their functions and importance for the environment; and (D) work with acrylic paint, figurative drawing in relation to some animals and their respective evolution. The above was carried out with the fifth, sixth and seventh grade student population of the Liceo Nuevo Chile Educational Institution. At the end of the pedagogical and didactic proposal, the students strengthened cognitive, procedural and attitudinal skills in relation to the implementation of different plastic arts techniques, which not only merged with biology, but also served as support for the applicability of art in the different subjects and spaces inside and outside the school environment.
