Ítem Eco de una PérdidaLeguízamo Pantoja, Wilmar Alexander; Shambo González, FerneyThe artistic practice of drawing understood not only as a mechanism of construction, representation, appropriation and interpretation of the image, can be a tool to expose a real or imaginary experience, lasting or transient, traumatic or emotional life. The origin of my plastic proposal comes from a particular situation that would become a milestone in my life; face the death of my brother. Therefore, positioned from the absence, I face the change that this circumstance caused in me and my family: see, feel, suffer, cope and in the best of cases, overcome death. So, through the drawing I have been able to manifest and evoke part of my reminiscences and make my duel with respect to death and the emptiness left by the departure of my loved one. In that order of ideas and in my interest to bring my studies to the issue of grief, questions such as The Echo of a loss arise, among which I can count the following: Is there the possibility of coping with death, if we face it through artistic acts? How to coexist with the absence of who is no longer? How to talk about death without having died? These questions will be known in the body of the present proposal, in which short stories and anecdotes are integrated, materialized in images that account for one of the realities of the human being in his life cycle, death.
