Ítem Tango en contexto: exploración para la creación escénica desde la sensibilidad de los bailarines de BogotáArias Barahona, Manuel Alejandro; Ortega Garzón, Sandra MaríaThis research employs conceptual review and creative exploration to trigger tango from sentience, and not from the rational layout of the form, as this dance has been developed in Colombia based on an adoption process that replicates modes, forms, and methodologies of creation, imported from its place of origin, Argentina. To this end, a sensible dialogue was established in Bogotá with various tango instructors, dancers, professionals, and apprentices, with respect to their stories, discourses, and emotional states, revealing some methodologies employed to create their choreographies. This technical and philosophical knowledge contributed towards the argumentation and reconfiguration of some concepts related to performing arts creations. Furthermore, this thesis embarks in different explorations surrounding teaching, collective creation, experimentation, and the construction of tools that allowed for the production of other possible forms of creation. The road of the form was relinquished, leaving the path of the way open, which is where the opportunities to express what tango means for everyone remain hidden. This unveiled the unconscious states, the singularity, and the subjectivity of the dancer, enabling an organic appropriation of tango. This proves that it is possible for a tango to express the events and the context of where it is practiced.
