Ítem Caracterización Básica Y Evaluación De Adherencia De Diferentes Fuentes De Agregados AluvialesMojica Herrera, Luis Fernando; González Casas, FernandoThe present study aims to evaluate, in a comparative way, the behavior in the laboratory of three asphalt mixtures made of raw materials obtained from crushing processes extracted from different alluvial sources; Guayuriba river located in Villavicencio, Coello river located in Tolima and Gachetà river located in Gachetà. The IDU MD-12 gradation, established as a benchmark granulometric stripe; Was defined based on the importance of the bearing surface within the structure of a pavement and considering that this layer is the most critical, since it is the one that directly receives the humidity, the traffic loads and in general the environmental factors that Directly. We consider that evaluating any other constituent layer of a pavement that is located below the filing folder would not have the same relevance. The study covers the evaluation of compliance with the quality characteristics of the coarse and fine aggregate constituent of each mixture, as well as compliance in terms of adhesion, as stipulated by the IDU-ET-510-11 specification. In the first instance, the combined aggregates without asphalt, the characteristics of cleaning, hardness, durability and geometry were evaluated by applying the tests described in the schedule (table 3 Bitácora). Subsequently the tests were performed on the mixture with asphalt, for which 60-70 asphalt from Barranca was used. The study culminates with the performance of adhesion tests on the MD-12 asphalt mixtures elaborated in the different aggregate combinations.Ítem Uso de nanotecnología para el incremento de la resistencia a la humedad en mezclas asfálticas fabricadas para la ciudad de Bogotá D.C.Mojica Herrera, Luis Fernando; Navarro Jiménez, Ellerly Alejandro; Rondón Quintana, Hugo AlexanderThe critical point of the damage suffered by the pavement is its susceptibility to the effects it experiences due to damage caused by water. Said damage mechanism, coupled with the constant growth of the vehicle fleet, helps to reduce the durability of pavement structures. To increase the resistance to moisture damage of asphalt mixtures, multiple studies have been carried out around the world. In general, the state of knowledge reports the use of different additives for this purpose. Within these additives, those manufactured at the nanometric scale offer a wide opportunity for use since they are generally used in low dosages, are highly manageable and easy to store. The main objective of this work was to comparatively evaluate the resistance to moisture damage of an asphalt mixture MD-19 with conventional asphalt CA-14, with respect to an asphalt mixture MD-19 with asphalt cement CA-14 (IDU specifications, 2018). incorporating the INASOL® HB 1218 additive with nanotechnological characteristics in three dosages (0.05%, 0.10%, 0.15% with respect to the weight of the asphalt). To evaluate the resistance to moisture damage and the performance of the control mixtures and those modified with the additive, the tests were carried out, Marshall (INV. E-748), indirect traction to measure the TSR parameter (Tensile Strength Ratio, INV. E -725), adherence in tray (INV. E-740), Riedel Weber (INV. E-744), effect of boiled water (INV. E-757) and Cántabro (INV. E-760). The asphalt mixture to which the INASOL® HB1218 additive was added obtained a significant improvement, compared to a conventional asphalt mixture. This was due to the fact that the asphalt with the additive, when mixed with the aggregates, creates a highly adherent hydrophobic film, avoiding the infiltration of water that can deteriorate the asphalt mixture, obtaining a high resistance to moisture damage. This based on the results obtained by the adhesion tests in tray, indirect traction (TSR), Riedel-Weber and Cántabro, in these results it was possible to appreciate a significant increase endorsed by an ANOVA statistical analysis carried out on the results obtained.
