The rapid spread of the virus led to the declaration of a pandemic by the World Health Organization (WHO) on March 11, 2020. In Colombia, the first case was reported on March 6, 2020 in the city of Bogotá, this city has With more reports of positive cases of Covid-19 in the country, for this reason it was necessary to implement several mandatory quarantines to prevent the spread of the virus, this undoubtedly had an impact on different social settings, such as; the economy and unemployment, education and the health sector. The objective of this research was to characterize the social impact on education, health and economy, the latter in terms of unemployment and monetary poverty in the City of Bogotá after the Sars-cov 2 in the period from March to December of the year 2019 and 2020 respectively. The characterization responds to a description of the social impact on education, health and the latter economy in terms of unemployment and poverty after the Sars-cov 2, the fundamental basis of the research being a quantitative analysis which reflects in general terms that the The pandemic had negative effects on each of the social frameworks: The percentage of monetary poverty and unemployment rate increased considerably compared to 2019, on the other hand, the closure of educational institutions showed that there is social inequality, where the sectors those with lower incomes or greater vulnerability were the most affected. On the other hand, confinement has generated a great mental and psychological affectation, which can be reflected in tensions, fights, misunderstanding and intolerance, causing in most cases an increase in violence, with women being the most affected by this fact.
