In order to detect non-conformities in a timely manner, periodic visits and internal audits were carried out to verify the status of the headquarters and action plans were formulated that allowed the implementation of preventive and corrective measures in a timely manner, with the aim of avoiding that non-conformities lead to sanctions or inconveniences with the environmental authorities. To attend this type of event, Colsubsidio regularly links trained personnel who can assist in its environmental management. In this case, through the development of an internship as a degree modality, in which the environmental management of the IPS Colsubsidio network in the northern area of Bogotá was supported, considering what is established in the annual plan of the Strategic Services Unit in Health (ESU). In this way, as a student in the last semester of Environmental Engineering, I was offered to apply the knowledge acquired and respond to the professional profile, demonstrating the ability to identify, formulate and solve aspects related to environmental problems, in this case by evaluating the environmental performance of the company. entity, diagnosis, and follow-up of the environmental aspects identified in the IPS network and the design of effective strategies within action plans to solve the non-conformities presented. To carry out the internship, the phases were organized in a GANTT diagram where the activities to be carried out in each of the phases described in the methodology were contemplated, where phase I corresponded to analysis and evaluation, phase II to diagnosis and documentation. , phase III Design and implementation and finally phase IV Verification and compliance, with which the internship process was completed obtaining results for each of the aforementioned phases, allowing to demonstrate a solid corporate environmental management system in the face of the needs of the companies. headquarters, with several opportunities for improvement such as strengthening training and education programs and linking alternatives for the use of hazardous waste and its reduction, mitigating the environmental impact, and increasing funds in the charity center for recycling income, among others. Finally, a report on compliance was presented based on the audit carried out based on the checklists carried out in the months of November and December, the analysis of the results obtained in each phase, and the Conclusions and recommendations applicable to the 5 locations followed.
