“Conectarte. El arte como herramienta en el campo laboral”

Abstract

This report on the internship with the FUNDEXCO foundation and the different populations of the town of Usme, presents the artistic and pedagogical collaboration carried out inconjunction with the foundation. The formats used to keep a record of the workshops are presented and the progress made in terms of organization, creativity and artistic expression is highlighted. The authors of this report, master’s in dance art, recognize that human beings communicate organically and naturally through non-verbal language before learning to communicate verbally. Over time, experiences and lifestyles generate new body languages that can transmit at a glance both peaceful and violent acts, built from memories and experiences. The purpose of the internship carried out in collaboration with FUNDEXCO was to provide workshops to identify and understand the body languages present in these vulnerable bodies. This approach was carried out in a playful way, with the aim of making visible a language that often goes unnoticed in everyday life. This initiative made it possible to establish a significant connection between the work performance of the authors, the artistic field in which they work and the social motivation that drives them to participate in projects of this type.
