Resumen
Wilson Borja justifies his return to the political arena as a response to pressure from his grassroots base and the need for experienced leadership given the country’s critical situation. During the dialogue, he analyzes the fragmentation of the Polo Democrático party, attributing it to the "systemic functionality" of figures like Clara López and a lack of ideological coherence. Likewise, he demystifies the tensions between Carlos Gaviria and Gustavo Petro, whose leadership style made internal consensus difficult, though he dismisses allegations of record manipulation due to the nonexistence of such records at the time.
Regarding his proposals, Borja centers his platform for the House of Representatives for Bogotá on a profound educational reform. He proposes transitioning from a model focused on information coverage toward one centered on quality that identifies and guides human aptitudes from childhood, using European models as a reference. Finally, he defends the need to dignify the teaching profession and criticizes wage inequality in Colombia, noting that the discussion should not focus solely on congressional salaries, but on the structural gap where the majority of the population survives through informal labor
