Resumen
In this work you will find the application of a series of methodological tools developed for the instruction of dance, which can be applied to any genre or style according to the interests of who wishes to use it. These tools have been developed following the study of the body in formative processes focused on Ballet within the classrooms of the ASAB Faculty of Arts, from the Francisco José de Caldas District University, and also with afrodance as an object of autonomous study in unconventional spaces outside the academic institution. We will approach this case from afrohouse dance, with the purpose of contributing to the field of knowledge of this genre in the city of Bogotá: the execution of the above was carried out in the artistic corporation Palenke, a cultural dance and music group, with young people of the corporation that already had a dance process with languages from traditional Colombian dance and Afro Mandingue. Additionally, it was carried out with people who are not part of the corporation but who showed an interest in being part of the process, for which some sessions were held with specific topics, and thus from each session it was possible to extract individual and group results in order to respond to the interest of this project. Within the project, the somatics applied to the dance also stands out as one of the most relevant tools during this process, since it allowed various spaces for personal exploration where each participant was able to have their own experience and close to the reality of their body and its movements, together with the understanding and stimulation of the information provided from my position.
