Resumen
This research emerges as the result of continuous introspection I have undergone throughout my career, concerning the profound influence of my diet on both my personal development and my growth as a professional dancer within the context of the PCAD. This study is grounded in a qualitative approach, in which my voice and personal experiences, along with those of several PCAD colleagues who actively participated in detailed interviews, interweave with existing theory and documentation. Through this process, the significance of nutrition for professional dance students is illuminated, highlighting how dietary behaviors can exert a significant impact throughout their formative journey. The methodology employed aligns with the structure of a monograph, as it allows for a comprehensive and argumentative exploration of this specific topic. Through the conclusions, I aim to address the research question: What were the effects of dietary behaviors, both on the physical and emotional levels, experienced by students in the Proyecto Curricular Arte Danzario during their formative process at the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas? It is anticipated that the conclusions drawn will contribute innovatively to current knowledge in the field of professional dance and nutrition.
