Abstract

In order to improve the response of a real business WAN network, performing a detailed analysis of the sizing techniques used by the quality of service policies, in order to find the most appropriate to be applied in a real business environment. A previous study of the behavior of the traffic in the entity will be made, identifying the problems in the reliability and the performance in the network, then proceeding to the execution of simulations, defining the most efficient technique of sizing for the entity and being able to perform a series recommendations, which, if executed by the IP, guaranteeing voice, data and video traffic, reducing the parameters with delay (delay), saturation and packet loss, improving the performance of the network, generating a response of the company's applications and servers.
