Abstract

The project focuses on addressing the lack of knowledge and inadequate practices in software testing in application development. It is highlighted that the university training of systems engineers rarely delves into tests during the undergraduate, resulting in professionals with limited understandings of the tests and a tendency to perform them manually and late. This can compromise the quality of the software. Lack of understanding of the importance of testing leads to insufficient allocation of time for them, even in agile methodologies such as SCRUM. As a solution, it is proposed to develop a web tool that provides information on software testing, from planning to monitoring, based on the BDD methodology. The goal is to improve the understanding and application of testing practices, increasing software quality and saving time and costs in companies. The project seeks to design a web application that facilitates the management of an agile test plan and the monitoring of test results, focusing on the BDD methodology.
