Abstract

Climate zoning is the basis of many analyzes carried out at the environmental level, this is the reason why the quality of this information is so important. Due to this, the need to automate the generation of climate zoning was raised and it was mainly focused on environmental consulting companies where time is always short, but it is vital to ensure the quality of the information. The purpose of this project is to develop a complement for the QGIS software, which allows the automation of a climatic zoning according to Caldas-Lang and which will result in a zoning layer with a table of structured attributes as established by the Environmental Licensing Authority (ANLA) for the delivery of environmental studies information, this plugin can be used by any professional who makes up the GIS team of an environmental consulting firm.
