Resumen
The study is based on a mixed approach, utilizing quantitative and qualitative data collected through surveys and interviews with personnel involved in topographic processes. Statistical analyses of the equipment's condition were conducted, and a SWOT matrix was applied to identify strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the company's topographic management. The results show that a significant percentage of surveying equipment is in regular condition, which can affect the accuracy of the work. The need for unification of topographic processes and the implementation of advanced technologies to improve efficiency was identified. Most respondents believe that the creation of a specialized topography department is essential to improve resource management and ensure the quality of the projects. The study concludes that the creation of a specialized topography department is crucial to optimize resources, standardize processes, and improve operational efficiency at Pavimentos Colombia S.A.S. Additionally, it emphasizes the importance of continuous personnel training and the updating of topographic equipment as essential measures to maintain the company’s competitiveness in the sector.
