This project seeks to establish the basic guidelines for the implementation of the PMI methodology to the slope stabilization activities, highlighting during the development which process areas were relevant for the execution of the methodology, thus highlighting the main shortcomings that happen during the execution of this type of work. Once the information was collected, the numerical analysis of each implemented management area was carried out, highlighting the comparatives of the S curves, which produced data that allowed to conclude at the budget level, evidencing the importance of good management in schedules, shortcomings that had an impact on the others, leading to an earned value analysis that produced unfavorable results with respect to their budget and scheduling indices, showing a delay of more than 50% and cost increases of 54% of what was initially contemplated. Finally, some recommendations are made to be considered by companies that operate in the sector and that wish to execute their projects under a managerial methodology.
