Abstract

In this project, the design, manufacture and commissioning of a ventilator test bench for the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas will be presented, in order to create a tool that allows to expand knowledge in the area of ​​ventilation to the future technologists and engineers of technology and mechanical engineering of the technological faculty. For the development, several trajectories are foreseen, each one with different variables and typical accessories in the industry, showing the process of selecting the fans, design and structuring of the bench and selection of the materials to be used, in addition to the decision-making process. each stage of the process to its end. In the same way, different stages are contemplated for documentation, definition of parameters to be measured, study of alternatives, comparison between alternatives, design, planimetry, manufacture of prototype tests and validation of the model and preparation of the written document.
