Resumen
In the context of the curricular project "Sistematización de Datos por Ciclos Propedéuticos" of the Facultad Tecnológica of the Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas, this degree project focuses on the application of data mining as a key tool to improve the quality of education. The curricular project is distinguished by presenting learning results, which constitute a fundamental element in the training of future professionals. This project aims to analyze the intrinsic relationship between students' dedication to learning and the results obtained in an effort to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies for academic problems. As the curriculum project seeks to evolve and adapt to changing demands, this initiative becomes a significant step towards data-driven decision making. The essence of this research lies in the ability to use concrete data to optimize the training of future professionals of the curricular project. The methodology is based on data extraction, processing and analysis, and makes use of the versatility of Python and its libraries as the main tool. The results obtained will not only directly influence the training of students, but will also contribute to the continuous development and improvement of the quality of the academic program.
