| dc.description | la telemedicina es una disciplina que se ha convertido en una alternativa tecnológica para superar necesidades de comunidades vulnerables, especialmente alejadas de los centros de atención médica de niveles primarios. Por ello, el CDATICS (Centro de desarrollo de aplicaciones de tecnologías de la información y las comunicaciones) y el grupo de investigación Gidenutas, adscritos a la Universidad Distrital, han focalizado esta investigación desarrollando e implementando SAEL UD - Salud Electrónica Universidad Distrital - en Ciudad Bolívar, localidad 19 de la ciudad de Bogotá (Colombia), como una plataforma sobre Internet para realizar consultas médicas virtuales, a través de herramientas on-line entre pacientes localizados remotamente y especialistas localizados en centros médicos; permite la toma de signos vitales como temperatura corporal, pulso cardiaco, frecuencia respiratoria, oximetría o (SPO2), nivel de saturación de oxígeno en la sangre, (NIBP), y presión sanguínea sistólica diastólica y media, mediante equipos electromédicos y su visualización. | es-ES |
