Resumen
The present work was realized in the University Distrital F.J.C., in the Faculty of Sciences and Education, Macarena B, where worked with the Collection of Arthropods and other Invertebrates CAUD-216. The work was developed with specimens collected in two degree works, specifically: "Effect of furadan on the succession of necrophagous entomofauna associated with Sus scrofa L. (1758), in Veral Petaluma, Cachipay, Cundinamarca" realized by Jehison Herrera and Karol Malaver in 2012 and "Characterization of the succession of cadaveric entomography and decomposition processes in a pig (Sus scrofa) subjected to automotive gas at the Cumaca, Tibacuy - Cundinamarca" realized by Luisa Morales and Carolina Moreno in 2010. The objective was to establish a reference collection of diptera of forensic interest for further investigations, starting with the appropriate processes of curation, taxonomic determination, systematization, labeling and preservation both dry and wet of the specimens named, to highlightthis its importance in medical-legal research. Were advanced processes of morphological revision and curatorial to 8,505 Diptera; of these 3531 were determined uncil the category "family" and 4046 were taxonomically determined uncil "genus". The other 928 individuals were taxonomically verified and taken as referents because it have been previously reviewed by experts. The database has 750 records that include 8,505 individuals; 8,455 are preserved in liquid and 50 dry in Cornell boxes on the compactor, each properly labeled. The presence of these individuals in CAUD-216 is important because they are located as referents for the development of different research activities, contributing with their data in forensic case analysis. In addition, the present collection is a reference for designing and implementing active biodiversity conservation.
