Propuesta sistema Holter ECG para detección de aritmias enfocado a IOT

Abstract

The detection of cardiac problems can be diag-nosed using the Holter, which is a long-term, portable ECG (electrocardiography) system that allows the patient to be monitored over a pro-longed period without affecting their daily routine. This article presents advances associated with the development of this device and how these technological advances can be focused on its use for the Colombian population, where more than 20% of deaths in 2016 in the national territory were directly associated with heart disease and conditions. The search for information related to the techno-logical changes that Holter has presented, fo-cused on search results by keywords in the databases of the IEEE, scienceDirect, Embase and pages of manufacturers with products al-ready on the market. As a result of the aforemen-tioned research, a design proposal for a Holter ECG system is presented, with characteristics defined according to the research and focused on the use of the Web platforms, where IOT data are stored and processed.
