Abstract

This edition of Voces y Regiones discusses the Pact for Transparency, an initiative aimed at preventing the misuse of economic and financial resources by governments for personal gain, ensuring their proper management for the benefit of the community. This pact represents a commitment to promoting transparency, accountability, and citizen participation in public administration. A community-based civil organization plays a key role in this process by monitoring the proper use of resources and fostering collaboration between citizens and government institutions. Through social oversight, civic education, and the creation of dialogue spaces, this organization works to strengthen public trust and ensure that resources are used efficiently and fairly to support collective development.
