Abstract

The blue economy model aims for improving the production processes and the creation of closed cycles of industrial cooperation, forming a robust productive base that generates employment and decrease the environmental impacts of the industry. In consideration of this, the real context of the brickyard "Las Canteras SA" is evaluated located in the area of Mochuelo in Bogota susceptible to determine the critical points of environmental improvement in the development of their activities and through the evaluation of success factors cases with similar application at international level, involving criteria Ecology Industrial, Biomimicry and Material and Energy Efficiency, strategies that lead to environmental, social and economic improvement in the area of influence of the brickyard.
