Resumen
We Show how to approach a problem that arises from finding a reliable and convenient mechanism for the modeling and representation in software systems based on the process of institutional self-evaluation in entities that implement a standard internal control model (SICM), a control process responsible for the measurement and monitoring of action plans, Goals and the regulatory agency of internal organizations with a decentralized nature. Based on the definition of the area, its functions and the guidelines to be followed and monitored in Colombian regulations, certain mechanisms of measurement and evaluation are established as the Standard Internal Control Model. However, they are not fully defined and depend on specific software implementations that each organization decides to perform according to its organizational characteristics (processes, areas, activities and mission). The interest of the research is to find a solution that can be generalized and applied to several possible contexts to form as much as possible a prototype of software that can be used from this standard using the discipline of software engineering: requirements management, business process through enterprise architecture definitions, and use of well-known software development methodologies and appropriate frameworks as technological tools.
