Abstract

Within the framework of the use and appropriation of the new technological repertoires youtuber appear as important figures that contribute to the construction of social fabric in thousands of young people subscribed to the network that receive the content made by them through the different screens. In this scenario appears Mateo Crespo "Teo LSC", a young hearing impaired, who dedicates most of his free time to interpret in sign language the songs that are booming through his YouTube channel; Mateo, in addition, to spread his videos in this virtual space also uses channels such as Instagram, Facebook and Twitter. In the same way, the messages that you send through them aim to understand that people who present some difference are also able to create content that contributes to society and that serve as a foothold to understand the situation of discrimination that millions live of people like him. Against this background, the need arises to investigate the forms of participation that this young person has in the current communicative ecosystem, as well as his influence on both the deaf and hearing community and the recognition of the deaf culture through his educommunicative narratives.
