Análisis del manejo de envases y empaques en empresas afiliadas al plan colectivo Clean Pack de Kelab S.A.S

Abstract

This work presents the results of an internship carried out at the company R&R Kelab S.A.S., focused on analyzing the management of packaging and containers in small and medium-sized enterprises affiliated with the Clean Pack Collective Plan. A descriptive methodology was used to diagnose current waste management practices, apply an environmental impact assessment, and propose sustainable alternatives such as polylactic acid (PLA) and sugarcane bagasse. As internship outcomes, a benchmarking process was conducted to identify strengths and weaknesses, enabling the creation of improvement strategies; a visual guide on solid waste management was also designed, along with environmental awareness materials. The results show that, despite regulatory and economic challenges, there are significant opportunities to optimize processes, promote circular economy practices, and reduce the environmental impact of packaging.
