Resumen
In this section of the Voces y Regiones program, the topic of peace and participation in Colombia is discussed, with a special focus on the department of Quindío. Through interviews with community leaders, the program highlights their understanding of peace and their commitment to the development of their communities. These leaders emphasize that, although conflict is an inherent part of human relationships, respect, education, and dialogue are essential tools for resolving differences peacefully.
In Quindío, local initiatives have promoted spaces for citizen participation where communities can express their needs and collaborate on finding solutions. Peace Tables and community mediation programs play a key role in preventing conflicts and fostering harmonious coexistence. This participatory approach strengthens social bonds and promotes a culture of peace and cooperation in the region.
