Correlación entre la microestructura y la dureza del bronce SAE40 y el latón SAE88, sometidos a tratamiento térmico, utilizando metalografía a color

Abstract

In the following document, the results obtained after performing a comparison analysis of the grain size in the microstructure and the microhardness obtained will be disclosed to samples of bronze SAE 40 and SAE 88, subjected to tempering and aging. Heat treatments were performed on the specimens, then colored micrographs are obtained to observe the microstructure obtained from which the grain size measurements were made with the help of drawing software. At the same time, random microhardness measurements are made to all the specimens, with these values the design of experiments is completed to establish the microhardness values that will be correlated with the obtained grain sizes. The values obtained by means of the statistical analyzes and the colored images allow to establish a successful correlation between the grain sizes and the microhardnesses obtained, by means of straight equations that represent said relationship.
