Resumen
In Colombia, we have witnessed how violence has resulted in numerous losses and negative consequences for our society. This research was conducted in Bogotá, specifically in the Tocaimita neighborhood of the Usme locality, where residents have been victims of armed conflict in various departments across the country. As a result, children in this community have been exposed to violence, which has become normalized in their environment.
The project is set in a context where violence, in its multiple forms, profoundly impacts the child population. Domestic violence, substance abuse, and gang involvement are visible realities in Bogotá, particularly in Usme, contributing to the deterioration of the social fabric. This diagnosis highlights the urgent need for intervention and provides a critical perspective on the relationship between armed conflict and the violent practices present in Tocaimita.
