Resumen
The image contains a news story about a detailed report on the progress of the construction of a road to the Magdalena in Colombia, addressed to the Governor of the State. He begins the report by praising enthusiasm for material progress and the importance of building a new path. The author describes a recent inspection of the work carried out by the presidio on the road. It is mentioned that progress has been made in banking, despite some difficulties such as the lack of necessary tools and the increase in sick people due to the rains. The dedication of the Director of the work stands out, pointing out the need to send clothing and blankets for the prisoners. Some difficulties encountered along the way are also mentioned, such as a cliff that stopped the work at a certain point. A change of plan is proposed to overcome this difficulty and reach the blade that joins two mountain ranges. The excess width of the road built so far is also criticized, suggesting reducing it to one meter to accelerate progress.
