Resumen
The image contains news about a note addressed to the Secretary of Government of the Republic of New Granada. In this letter, the person in charge of ensuring the conservation and improvement of public establishments in the province expresses his interest in participating in the dispute between the Executive Branch and the Rector of the Colegio de San Bartolomé over the ownership of the premises that previously served for the Senate sessions. Requests the Government to continue recognizing the school's right over the aforementioned premises. The submitter argues that the building has historically belonged to the college under various names and uses, and cites specific laws that, when interpreted, support the college's ownership. It concludes by urging the Head of the Administration to revoke the resolution that affects the rights of the school to avoid a judicial dispute. News published in El Repertorio. June 28, 1856.
