Resumen
In the present job, a cost analysis of an external urban planning project in the city of Bogotá was carried out from the estimation of work package costs, applying the Earned Value Method as an instrument for project management, which allows measuring the performance and delays generated by different factors within the project. There, the time, cost and scope of the project under study were integrated. Taking into account the above, it was proposed to carry out this cost analysis based on the budget, schedule and WBS of the project to be analyzed. To execute this analysis, the Project software was used where the main data were entered, such as project activities, costs, programming and its progress; Subsequently, a baseline and a cutoff to October 2023 were created in order to evaluate to date how the project is in accordance with the budget and the schedule. Finally, the value gained was calculated with the respective indices. which determined the status of the project.
