Construcción de un documento base de apoyo para la solicitud del registro calificado de la Maestría en Agua y Saneamiento Ambiental de la Facultad del Medio Ambiente y Recursos Naturales de la Universidad Distrital Francisco José de Caldas

Abstract

Based on Decree 1330 of 2019 and Resolution 21795 of 2020 of the Ministry of Education of Colombia, the collection of information and the development of quality conditions is carried out, as a basis for the application for the Qualified Registration of the Master's Degree in Water. and Environmental Sanitation; considering the program offer as a response to the deficiencies in the planning and management of water resources, the management of solid waste and atmospheric pollution that impact social well-being and the environment. Additionally, the creation of the program is justified based on the analysis of 21 related programs, of which the master's degree would be unique in its name and would meet the demand in the capital, national and even international district. In this work, compliance with the conditions of the District University in terms of infrastructure, physical and technological resources, policies, programs and plans for institutional improvement, among others, is presented; and finally, the initial approach to the characteristics of the postgraduate course, in relation to the curricular aspects, activities, educational means, relationship with the external sector and others, which are essential for the organization of the master's degree and the correct development of the training process. This in turn shows that the research modality contributes better to the actions carried out by masters in the middle.
