The image contains a news item from the Departmental Assembly of Cundinamarca where it establishes the Budget of Income and Expenses for the economic biennium of 1889 and 1890. The amount of income is set at one million six hundred and eight thousand pesos, distributed in different concepts such as direct taxes , distilled liquors, registration and annotation, among others. Liquid credits are also established for the expense budget at one million five hundred and sixty-one thousand two hundred and fifty-six pesos. These expenses are intended for different aspects such as the Departmental Assembly, the Ministry of Finance, the General Administration of Finance, Accounting, Prefectures, Police, Justice, Public Instruction, Public Debt, Miscellaneous Expenses and Charity. Salaries, travel expenses and other expenses are detailed for each of these chapters. Additionally, a comparison is presented between the total amount of expenses and the total income, showing a surplus of forty-six thousand seven hundred and forty-four pesos. The President of the Assembly is Víctor Mallarino, the Secretary is Carlos Cuervo M. and it has the signature of Jaime Córdoba and the Secretaries of Government and Finance.
