Resumen
In this edition of "Tripulantes," the participants Ana María, Juan Diego, Duván, Mario, Nicolás, Daniel, and Laura celebrate Mother's Day, sending greetings and congratulations to all mothers. The central theme of the program is motherhood in the animal kingdom, for which they invite veterinarian Andrés Felipe Álvarez. He explains the diverse reproductive and parental care strategies in mammals, reptiles, birds, amphibians, and insects, highlighting examples such as marsupials, sea turtles, the Andean condor, frogs, and elephants. The question of whether animals have maternal feelings like humans is also addressed, and the reasons why not all bird and insect eggs hatch are discussed. The program includes a segment on the origin of Mother's Day and the word "mom" in different languages, suggesting that its universality is due to the ease with which babies pronounce it. Finally, the presenters offer advice on how to avoid maternal scolding, such as always telling the truth and following their mothers' instructions, concluding with a message of love and respect for them.
