Propuesta de ajuste a la concentración del límite máximo permisible de la normatividad en materia de calidad del aire en Colombia.

Abstract

The maximum permissible limits for air quality established in standard 2254 of 2017, are applied uniformly throughout the national territory, without taking into account population, land use and meteorological variables. The objective of this study is to propose an adjustment methodology to establish the maximum permissible limit in air quality for the criteria pollutants established by current regulations. To carry out the work, a methodological design divided into three phases was carried out (analysis of national and international regulations, determination of adjustments and calculation factor, and calculation methodology). The results of the study show a decrease in the maximum permissible limit concentration for the different pollutants, the greatest restrictions are observed in: PM2.5 (annual) and NO2 with 12%.
