Diseño geométrico de los pasos a desnivel en la interseccion de la carrera 63 con la autopista sur en el sector de Villa del Rio de la ciudad de Bogotá

Abstract

The present project is focus on giving an infrastructure solution to improve the level of service which rules the operation of the intersection of the South highway and Carrera 63 in Villa del Rio sector in Bogota City. To plan a solution it is made a traffic study which identifies the current way operations, within the traffic flow it is made a projection of them to establish the operation conditions which could take place in 20 years from now. As a solution it is proposed the construction of two overpasses which allow the left turns which are done now in the interjection, without stopping the vehicle flow on the south high way. A geometrical design, vertical alignment and horizontal alignment of the solution is provided, and finally is produced the design of signaling to guarantee the way operation. All this project was developed under the guideline of the geometrical design handbook of the roads from (Repúbica de Colombia Ministerio de transporte Instituto Nacional de Vias, 2008), the rule (AASHTO- American Association of State Highway and Transportation Officials, 2004), the handbook of signaling from (Republica de Colombia, Ministerio de Transporte, 2015) and supported by the AUTOCAD CIVIL 3D and Vissim 8.0 software.
