El teatro como medio de discusión de la realidad social

Abstract

During the years 2018-2019 it has been possible to observe Bogotá society, to manifest in different ways, given the social conditions that we are living. We are responding to economic, political and cultural situations through different means, such as marches, gas strikes, protests, stoppages ... Although, these have been the conventional ways of demonstrating, it is not possible to stop having It has other forms of unconventional social expression, within this category I frame artistic practices such as theater, which I have considered as a faithful reflection of the historical-social context and of reality itself. In the theater, at least from my position as an artist, I try to make my opinion known, upset, discomfort, approval or disagreement, to make known a critical-reflective thought of the situations we are going through as a country. I intend to investigate through the social crises that are occurring, as the theater enters to play to put a critical look at them. For this reason, it is possible to arrive at the hypothesis that artistic expressions are the reflection of socio-historical context in cities, which is why in the following pages I will investigate and deepen ¿how the theater and its different manifestations are a translation of historical moment that crosses a society? Since the artist must be merely political.
